I have spent countless hours trying to improve "The Portal" project, and it made my fingers almost bleed. The script that was written when I got hold of it, was so messed up, it needed some major re hauling. The Portal had so many non user friendly bugs!
I have been trying to contact the owners of scriptspal.com but they keep shrugging me off, until I mentioned about their authentication stuff, because when their site is offline, so is your administrative abilities. (Thier site goes offline at least once an hour, for about 30 min) I asked if there was a way to remove the authentication, then they promply responded "You can get the full licence, if you pay more". I never went back to their site again.
Customer service was horrible. If you are going to make a script, you better support it, and update it or its gonna come crashing down. They will eventually go out of business, and this script will become abandonware, or copyleft.
I have fixed all the known bugs so far, but that doesn’t mean this version is stable. Nice job guys, really nice job! (sarcasm)
